Elaboration, testing and validation of an innovative learning method are part of the project: this refers to adults of poor areas, particularly migrants and lies on three Is: intergenerational, intercultural and social inclusion.
The project is based on workshops that encourage the approach to the musical comedy (singing, dancing, writing, acting, role games…).
Such an alternative approach has several advantages and offers new competences and knowledge to a fragile target (a better understanding of the language of the new Country, understanding the others, reading, writing, problem solving, cooperation abilities, more autonomy and intercultural aspects) and personal and social “blooming” of all.
Implementation of a creative workshop in Molenbeek St-Jean, Liverpool and Seravezza to approach performing arts – based on 3 Is approach: interaction, interculturality and intergeneration (9 months – from September 2013 to May 2014).
Production of a Musical in the pilot quarters, based on a common story.
The creative workshops in the quarter imply the initiation into performing arts – hebdomadaire course involving (adult and young) native and migrant learners in the 3 pilot cities.
They will work on a common play. They will be structured into: singing, acting, animation, communication and role play.
This will certainly contribute to the knowledge of cultures, migrants, their point of view, their story and enhance integration.
